One person. One camera. No crew standing in the shot.
A crew changes a place. How a room sounds, how long you are welcome, what the light is doing by the time everyone is ready. One person changes nothing.
What I am for
- Places, mostly. Buildings, coastlines, weather, the hour before the light goes.
- And faces. Getting someone to be themselves while a lens is pointed at them.
- Then I cut it myself. The person who shot it is the person who finds the story in it.
Four minutes that hold, rather than forty that fill a page.
There are always a few things running. Never more than a few, which is why I am careful about which ones.
Say where
Tell me what you are making, and when it has to exist by.
Most of what I make is not mine to post. Tell me what you are planning and the nearest thing to it comes back to you the same day, privately.
